Applications
All of our applications are property specific. Once you find a property you’re interested in applying to, you can click on the application link to pull up the application for that property. If the property is no longer available for leasing, the application will also not be available. We highly recommend, and often may require, that you take a tour of the property prior to applying. Many owners require it.
The application process is fairly straightforward. You can fill out the online application, pay the application fee and then look for our email to digitally sign the application. Once these three things are completed we will review the application. If your application is accepted, we will notify you immediately and request that you share your credit score/report with us (see below) to finalize the application process. Sometimes applications may take a few days to review and compare.
Application fees may vary from property to property, but are generally around $15-35 per application. The application fee is paid through our website after the application has been filled out. These fees are administrative only, to cover the costs of reviewing and analyzing the application. They are non-refundable unless, in very specific instances, the property was not available and there may have been an error in allowing it to be filled out.
Credit checks are only accepted via Experian Connect – a secure way to share your credit report with a property manager. We’ve found this to be the most cost-effective way to securely obtain credit reports without jeopardizing your private information. Instructions will be sent after the application has been signed, reviewed, conditionally approved, and the credit check is requested.
Currently, Experian Connect says a one-time charge of $19.95 is incurred by the person pulling their own report. This is paid directly to Experian Connect. Experian Connect also states that checking and sharing your own credit report through Experian does not affect your credit score.
